Welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church in Trinity, Florida
At Trinity Lutheran Church, we are a Christ-centered community where individuals and families of all ages are welcomed with open hearts. Whether you are a lifelong Lutheran or simply exploring faith, you will find a place here to grow, serve, and belong.
Our mission is to share the love and life of Jesus Christ by creating a warm, inviting environment where faith deepens and community thrives. Through meaningful worship, engaging ministries, and opportunities to serve, we seek to nurture spiritual growth and strengthen the bonds that unite us as the family of God.
One of the first things you’ll notice about Trinity… is the people. “Warm, friendly, and welcoming” are some of the words used to describe our members, because Trinity is about people. Your church should not just be a building or a man-made structure, it should be about people, brought together by the love and grace of God, to share life together.

At Trinity Lutheran Church God has blessed our congregation with our amazing Pastor Marc E. Nauman. He is a humble servant of God and truly understands the purpose of sharing the love and life of Jesus Christ to change the lives of people.
There is a special bond between the congregation and Pastor Marc. Pastor Marc has been the only Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church for the last 15 years (there is no Associate Pastor). Trinity Lutheran Church started as a small congregation meeting in a small building. Over the years TLC has grown in the number of members, and in the size of the sanctuary. A couple of years ago we moved into our beautiful sanctuary, narthax and portico.
All three weekend services are led by Pastor Marc. He prepares the service, the music, and the sermons. Everyone (not an exaggeration) loves Pastor Marc’s sermons. He devotes many hours in a week writing and practicing his sermon to make it relatable to all. He blends humor, personal experiences, and the gospel in his sermons in a manner that helps each member have a better understanding in their own relationship with God.
Lutherans have the same faith and belief, but Pastor Marc is very affective in presenting a message that resonates personally with all. He is a master of his art. Every sermon is original and is inspiring. The greatest compliment for a Pastor is when members of the church say they see God through the eyes of Pastor Marc.
There are many ministry teams at Trinity Lutheran Church and Pastor Marc is the foundation of all our ministry. He is a hard-working full-time Pastor that also leads bible study, baptisms, weddings, funerals, hospital visits and provides guidance to members in need, and the community at large. He is the leader of our church family but also has great support from his wife, Christene, and four children (Aaron, Nicole, Eric, and Sarah) who have been instrumental in building our church.
Worship is centered on Jesus Christ through Scripture, teaching, and the Sacraments. Services follow a liturgical structure with both traditional and contemporary elements.
Wear what makes you comfortable – from casual attire to more formal clothing, all are welcome.
Children’s Church is available for ages 3 (potty trained) through 5th grade every Sunday during the 10:30 AM service. Drop-off your children at 3100 Starkey, the building behind the main church before the service.
Children are returned before Holy Communion.
We are always looking for volunteers – no experience needed, just a willing heart.

We believe the Bible is the actual Word of God and that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone. Listed below are ten statements of faith that summarize our beliefs:
- The entire Bible, which points to Jesus as the Savior, is the inspired and errorless Word of God. It is God’s message of love and hope for all people.
- There is only one true God, who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator of everything that exists.
- Adam and Eve, the man and woman God created in the beginning, went against God’s will and brought sin into the world. Since that time, all people have been conceived and born in sin.
- Because of sin, people cannot save themselves by their good works or restore themselves to a right relationship with God.
- God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world. He is both true God and true man. He lived to fulfill God’s law for us, died on the cross to pay the penalty our sins deserved, and rose from the dead so that we might have eternal life. He ascended into heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of The Father to intercede for us.
- Because of Jesus’ death on the cross, God declares a person just or righteous and forgiven. This happens not because of human effort, but because the justification won by Jesus is applied to the one who believes in Jesus as Savior.
- Faith in Jesus is a gift of God, given by the power of the Holy Spirit; therefore, all the glory belongs to God.
- The means of grace are the Word, Holy Baptism, and Holy Communion. By these means, the merits of Jesus’ perfect life and atoning death are personally conveyed to all who believe in Jesus as their Savior.
- Jesus will come again to take all believers to Himself. On the final day, all the dead will be raised. Those who are still alive will be bodily transformed. After this, the final judgement will take place. Unbelievers will go into eternal damnation, and believers into eternal life
- The true Christian church is made up of believers of all times who believe in the Triune God and in Jesus Christ as their only Savior. As followers of Jesus, believers are called to tell others that the only way of salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ, and to show their faith by their deeds of love toward others.
We are a Lutheran church aligned with the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. For more informaton visit: Lutheran Church Missouri Synod – Belief and Practice
We will hold our pastors and teachers accountable to preach and teach the pure Gospel.
We measure this by God’s Word and our Lutheran Confessions.
In our relationships, we will hold each other accountable to live God’s Word.
We won’t gossip. We won’t talk “about” each other. We’ll talk “to” each other.
In our ministry, we will encourage every member to get involved.
TLC is not a “they” church, it’s a “we” church. Don’t use “they” as a power-play. Speak for yourself.
As fellow workers in God’s Kingdom, we will remain consistent and persistent.
Don’t give up. Don’t quit trying. What got us here won’t get us there.God wants to expand us in every way!
At Trinity Lutheran Church, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper every week in our worship services. Since the early years of Christianity, Holy Communion has been the pinnacle of Christian worship. There is a beautiful reason whay!
As the Apostle Paul teaches in 1st Corinthians 10:16, when we receive the bread and wine, we are actively participating in the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Holy Communion, Jesus is truly present with us, giving us His body and blood for our continued forgiveness.
Therefore, the Apostle Paul admonishes us in 1st Corinthians 11, “let a person examine themselves before coming to the Lord’s Table…anyone who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner, without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on themselves and will be guilty of the body and blood of Jesus.”
How do you receive Holy Communion in a worthy manner?
- You simply believe the words Jesus spoke about the bread and wine in Holy Communion, “This is my body…this is my blood…given for you for the forgiveness of sins.”
- You sincerely confess that “Yes, this is given for me!” I am a sinner and need the assurance of forgiveness that Christ offers me through His true body and blood.
- As Luther says in the Large Catechism, “It is the one who believes what the words say and what the words give…and because Jesus offers and promises the forgiveness of sins it can be received in no other way except by faith. All those who let these words be addressed to them and believe that they are true have what the Word declares.”
If you believe the Words of Jesus and agree with our understanding of what Scripture teaches about the Lord’s Supper, you are invited to celebrate Holy Communion with us. Anyone who has questions or is not sure about what Trinity Lutheran Church believes and confesses about the Lord’s Supper, please don’t hesitate to speak with our Pastor.
“Our Lord Jesus Christ, on the night when he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to the disciples and said: “Take, eat; this is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
There are many ways to connect through ministries, service opportunities, and events. Trinity is a “we” church where everyone is encouraged to participate.
