Trinity began as a mission of Faith Lutheran Church in New Port Richey, FL. Initially, worship services were held in people homes by Vicar Dave Hammer (pictured), who later was ordained and founded the congregation on the 2nd floor of Trinity College under the name of Caring Christ Lutheran Church. In 2006, Marc Nauman came on board to assist Pastor Hammer as the Director of Family and Music ministries.
In 2008, Pastor Hammer accepted a call to a different congregation and Dr. Kromphardt began serving as the interim pastor. In April of 2009, under Dr. Kromphardt’s direction, we moved to Starkey Blvd., in Longleaf, and eventually purchased the land on the corner of Starkey and Lake Blanche. We also renamed the church “Trinity” and built our first multi-purpose facility where we currently worship.
In 2011, Marc Nauman graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO, and became our ordained pastor. We are now in the process of building a larger facility on the front half of our property to be used as our main sanctuary and fellowship hall. We’ve experienced many changes throughout the years, but one constant has remained; Jesus Christ has carried Trinity and continues to empower us to change lives by sharing His love and life with others.
