Greetings to all our Trinity Lutheran Church members, guests, and the community beyond. I am delighted and excited to have been presented with this opportunity to write and publish the President’s blog for our church this year. It is my goal to write and publish this blog monthly following our Leadership Team meeting so as to keep everyone updated on all the current information regarding the state of our church and the events/activities encompassing it while at the same time providing encouragement to all through Christ and His word.
As it is visible to everyone our new sanctuary is getting closer to completion with each passing day. It is our hope that we will be worshiping there on Easter Sunday. I encourage everyone who is willing and able to help in any way they can to to please do so (donations, purchases, volunteering, etc.) in order to make this completion and subsequent transition go as smooth as possible.
I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage our Trinity Lutheran Church members and the community beyond to become as active as they can in the activities presented through our Church: activities such as Pastor Marc’s zoom and in person bible studies. There are also other bible studies being presented to include the Tuesday night Lenten studies held at church during Lent. Also, there are the opportunities to volunteer within the many groups within our church and in the community as well. There is also the opportunity to fellowship on both Guy’s and Lady’s night out monthly. (please check your bulletins, the church bulletin board, and the website calendar for more information). I also encourage everyone to stay steadfast in their own personal Bible reading, devotional, and prayer times.
Finally, I am sure many have noticed the community around us is growing at an expedited rate. What a great opportunity this is for our church body, through our new sanctuary, to reach out through the spreading of the word to everyone both in the existing communities around us and the new ones to come. If anyone has any ideas on how to reach out to the people of these existing and new communities to come I encourage you to do so by contacting any of the members of the leadership team.
In Christ,
President Chuck Arens
