The Senior Wish Tree, with gift requests from home-bound needy senior citizens in our community is in the entry a bit earlier this year, and with a new look. This year color-coded “angels” carry the name and gift requests on them. The folks who will receive our gifts are residents of Port Richey, New Port Richey or a near-by community. All are home-bound senior citizens who currently are receiving monthly deliveries of food from The Volunteer Way delivered by volunteer drivers. Trinity Luth. Ch. has been incredibly generous in previous years (this is our 8th year by the way) providing Christmas presents for all of the individuals on our “tree”, and hopefully despite the difficulties we’ve all had in 2020 we can do so again. Please take an angel over the next couple of weeks and share some of your holiday spirit with someone that you may never even meet. By the way, we are the only church currently participating in this program.
